I'm flying to Denver for the weekend.

That sentence makes me feel really pretentious, but also a little classy. I'm not really bothered by that... Because I'm mostly just really, really excited to get on a plane today. And it's not like I fly somewhere every weekend... So, not pretentious.

It's just that I love travel so much. There's just something so beautiful about embarking on a journey. It's not for everybody. I know some people can get so stressed out about the concept of air travel because there are so many ways that your itinerary can get messed up, and it can happen so quickly. I don't mind, and I rarely get stressed out about it either. It's all about the journey, and some journey's can go more smooth than others.

Tulsa to Denver was a relatively short flight, actually way shorter than I expected. I've only ever driven to Boulder, which is a 12 hour drive that I've made just about every year since I can remember. Yeah... Flying is way easier. Plus you get to see the crazy patterned landscape along the way. I just always get excited about the first view of the mountains.

Overall, I'm just really happy to be here.
