It's not every week that I get all day off on Saturday, but this week was one such week. In case you didn't know this about me I am absolutely in love with flowers, I don't even know how to explain it. They just make me so unrealistically happy. What makes me even happier are the kindred spirits who share my affinities to go flower picking with.
My sweet friends Kate and Kelly were more than eager to join me on our flower picking adventure, so once I gathered them up we were off to find our field of flowers. We drove for a little bit and happened on the perfect flower picking field. We all wanted something a little more secluded so we wouldn't get odd looks from passers by. This little field was positioned right behind a quite neighborhood and nursing home and it was literally covered in yellow flowers. It was pretty much a dream.
We flower picked for a solid half hour and got enough flowers to pretty much fill up the entire bucket I brought. Once we felt that we had enough, and were running a little short on time we we back to my house and set out a blanket in the shade and made some flower crowns. You can see the following pictures to see how awesome we did!
